Yoga is an individual practice. We all have muscles & bones, but no two bodies will move in the same ways. Sometimes in a yoga class, we will glance around the room and think that we are “doing it wrong.” Forgetting to consider that based on our own individual life experiences, our regular day-to-day activities, our expression of a pose will look different. Some days will always be better than others.

My primary focus is mobility, gracefully moving our bodies, slowly & comfortably in all planes of direction. Increasing flexibility, strength & stability while honoring our own unique capabilities. The poses practiced are accessible for everyone, even if you have never practiced yoga before (beginner friendly)

Every class I teach I look at as a beautiful opportunity to learn. I am truly humbled to have the opportunity to learn from the community of Redwater.

Equilibrium Yoga

LORELEI THOMAS

Local Redwater Yoga studio teaching group classes out of the Redwater Fitness Centre, as well as one on one. Classes vary from strength to stretch (beginner friendly). Lorelei has been a part of our team for several years and we’re lucky to have her.

 

Barbara Bairstow

The RFC is pleased to welcome Barbara Bairstow with “Get Back up With Barbara” as our in-house trainer She is a Certified Personal Training Specialist. Currently working full-time as a trainer and health coach, a long distance runner & former competitive bodybuilder. If you haven’t seen her in the gym yet … you will.
